Chavez dismisses rumours of death

Today Hugo Chavez had to retract his death.

"The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated" Mark Twain

coincioironically, Castro had been posthumously declared dead.

Castro was reported dead his obituary was an amalgam of his own and Reagan's ( a Reagan template had been used):

Fidel Castro (Cuban leader) in the CNN.com incident. The draft obituary, which had used Ronald Reagan's as a template, described Castro as 'lifeguard, athlete, movie star'.

The further left or right you go...

Apparently rumors are easily started. Hundreds of premature obituaries on wikipedia:

**************

Chavez dismisses rumours of death: "Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez phones state TV to deny rumours that he has died while undergoing radiotherapy in Cuba for a malignant tumour."
